In a thrilling match at the 17th of Group 2 at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022, Bangladesh emerged victorious against the Netherlands by 9 runs.
Bangladesh batted first, scoring 144 for the loss of 8 wickets. Afif Hossain was the standout performer with 38 runs, while van Meekeren and de Leede took 2 wickets each for the Netherlands.
In response, the Netherlands fought hard and reached 135 runs before being bowled out. Ackerman top-scored with 62 runs. However, Taskin Ahmed's brilliant bowling performance, taking 4 wickets for just 25 runs, proved decisive for Bangladesh.
