A New Era Begins

Introducing the Mavericks' New Coaching Staff

A New Era Begins

The Dallas Mavericks are excited to announce the hiring of Jason Kidd as their new head coach. Kidd, a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer, brings a wealth of experience to the Mavericks, having served as an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets, and as the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Kidd's Mavericks History

Kidd is no stranger to the Mavericks organization, having played for the team from 1994 to 2001. During his time in Dallas, Kidd helped lead the Mavericks to the franchise's first NBA Championship in 2011.

Coaching Staff Additions

In addition to Kidd, the Mavericks have also hired Eric Hughes as an assistant coach. Hughes previously served as an assistant coach for the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Mavericks are confident that the new coaching staff will help lead the team to new heights. Kidd is a proven winner, and Hughes is a rising star in the coaching ranks. The Mavericks are excited to see what the future holds with this new leadership team.
